Established in 1896, St. Andrews University offers a variety of academic majors, sports programs, and a nationally recognized equestrian program.
The design of the website was inspired by the shields found in the school’s logo. That shape is used throughout the website to create distinctive sections that contain images and content.
The previous website lacked focus and personality. The new design emphasizes the student experience while making it easier to navigate through all their program offerings.
The typography was influenced by the aesthetics of institutions of higher learning. Freight Display is used for headlines, while Balto is used for supporting type. The body copy was set in Meta Serif, which is extremely legible especially on mobile screens.
